Organic Thanksgiving Tablescape

Thanksgiving Tablescape with Fruit

I can’t believe it’s already Thanksgiving Week y’all! I wanted to quickly share our Organic Thanksgiving Tablescape in case you need some inspiration for your tables this year. Fruit helps add the perfect pop of color against a rather neutral background. I used pears, oranges, and granny smith apples.

I love white tablecloths for the holidays. It’s a nice easy blank canvas that you can do practically anything with. Because we have already put up our tree I decided to add in one strand of garland to the table to tie in to the tree. I also added in some dried magnolia leaves I had foraged last year.

I’m absolutely loving the antique blue velvet ribbon this year and will be incorporating that throughout our home this year. Just gently drape it across your garland for the easiest look.

I added a few pieces of my Wedgwood Blue Jasperware collection just to tie into the blue ribbon.

An easy way to add place settings is to use a gold sharpie directly on a pear or piece of fruit to write the names of your guests.

Taper candles are a must! These tapers make such a statement and they don’t block your view across the table either. Try to keep your centerpiece low and not invasive to conversations. I used my late grandparents antique pewter candlesticks to create this look. I linked some similar styles below.

As you can see I just used my everyday white plates from Pottery Barn. You don’t need fine china to make a statement. I think Thanksgiving is a more relaxed meal so don’t be afraid to use your everyday white plates. The key to making it elevated is to use lots of layers. Start with a placemat, the charger, the dinner plate, the salad plate, your napkin and then the fruit placecard.

Thank you for flying by and Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family!

xoxo,

Robyn

Tip: If you are sending your guests home with leftovers be sure to give them some fruit from the table.
