Tips for Styling a Tiered Tray

One of my favorite things to do in regards to decorating my home is styling my tiered trays. There is something so exciting about changing them out for the different seasons and holidays. I’ve gathered some of my favorite ones I’ve done in the past to show you a few tips for styling a tiered tray.

Here are a few tips that I typically always stick to when I’m styling my tiered trays:

  1. Addition of greenery or florals to give it life and color
  2. Candle for ambiance
  3. Beaded garland for interest and texture
  4. Cute sign or tchotchke for different seasons or holidays
  5. Pop of color
  6. White accents especially if your tiered tray is wood
  7. Height variations in order to give your decor some depth

This first tray is probably my favorite. I purchased mine from Antique Farmhouse.  I love the distressed wood on this one and the metal accent at the top.

It has been through a lot of changes over the years as you can see below.

This next tray I purchased from Wal-Mart from the Better Homes and Gardens line and I really wish they still sold it because I would have definitely purchased an additional one! I love the galvanized look to this one. This one is perfect for entertaining outdoors as well!

This last chippy tiered tray I scooped up at Hobby Lobby on clearance and I’m so glad I did. I recently put it in our guest bedroom to house all the guest essentials like toothpaste, toothbrushes, shampoo and conditioner just in case they forgot something. It happened to match perfectly with my chippy sewing table.

Until next time little birdies! Have fun styling your tiered trays! Let me know in the comments if you have any product related questions. Have a wonderful weekend!

xoxo,

Robyn 🙂
