She Shed Inspiration

Ever since we bought this house I’ve always had this she shed project brewing in the back of my brain. We have this cute little shed in our backyard that we are currently using for lawn equipment and supplies. The other night I went on a little pinning sesh on Pinterest just to get some ideas on how I want our She Shed to look. Even though I say “She Shed” I still want this to be a cool hangout spot for not only me but my husband as well. So I don’t plan on going too girly in here. I just want it to be nice and bright white on the interior with fun pops of color here and there. So stick along as I show you my she shed inspiration so far!

Here is the current state of what we are dealing with. She definitely has some potential!

She just looks a little sad and needs some serious TLC. I think a fresh coat of paint on the trim and new brightly painted doors will really make a huge difference on the exterior.

Here are some shots of the inside of the shed.

As you can see there are two pretty large windows and french doors that offer a good amount of natural light. The doors are very warped, so that will need some fixing. I have the perfect shade of Robin’s Egg Blue that I want to paint the doors inside and out. It is very similar to our interior front door. I think it will help her come alive and give her some character!

I can’t wait to get started on this project and document the progress. Now that it’s finally getting a bit cooler outside I’m getting more motivated to take on this project! Stay tuned for more she shed updates in the near future!
