Everyday Makeup for Your 30s

Makeup For Your 30s

Hey y’all! Happy Friday! I know this is not home decor related, however it is something that really interests me. I love watching makeup tutorials on YouTube and learning about new makeup all the time. So I thought I would share my everyday makeup products that have been my go to’s for quite some time. I’m in my thirties and I think that with the change in my skin I have tailored my makeup from when I was in my 20s. I’m forever finding new products to try, but I think I have narrowed it down to my all time favorites that are great for everyday makeup for your 30s.

As much as I hate putting my pumpkin head on here I will do it for the blog. 🙂 I absolutely hate taking selfies unless they are funny ones. I had just done my makeup for the first time this week mainly because of this blog and the fact that I had been working from home all week. Sad when it takes a blog to do your makeup right? If I’m at home and not going anywhere I usually don’t wear makeup. Whenever it’s done it can definitely make you feel a certain kind of way. It helps to give you the confidence to take on the world so to speak. Which is why I’m so fascinated by it I presume.

You can shop my makeup favorites using my affiliate links:

Skin: I have combination skin. So I have an oily t-zone but I also have some dryness around my nose and upper forehead. I also get hormonal breakouts in my chin area during that time of the month. I just thought I would point that out when sharing these products that work for me.

Lotion: After I cleanse my face I always use a face lotion. My favorite at the moment is the First Aid Beauty ultra repair cream. This cream leaves my face extremely hydrated and creates a nice even base before I do my makeup. It’s not sticky or greasy either. You can also use it head to toe, so I typically get the largest size so it lasts forever! My husband uses it on occasion as well!

Foundation: I have been loving this Too Faced Peach Perfect Foundation since it first came out. It gives such a wonderful base and lasts all day! It is a matte foundation but I don’t find it to be super matte. I like to apply this foundation with a beauty blender. It gives it a nice clean finish.

Concealer: This one steals the show. If I could only have one makeup product it would be this bad boy right here. The Tarte shape tape concealer is hands down the best concealer I’ve ever used! It’s not drying, it doesn’t crease and it lasts all day!

Powder:  Tarte Creamy Powder Foundation  has the best finish! It can also be used alone instead of on top of your foundation. I love that versatility. Sometimes I’ll just use the shape tape concealer with this powder and call it a day. It has great coverage!

Bronzer: I have many bronzers so it was hard to narrow it down, but I had to give it to Benefit’s Hoola bronzer. It’s such a great color and blends like a dream. You can use it to contour or just bronze up the skin.

Blush: I have been using Tarte’s Amazonian Clay Blushes for well over 5 years now. I haven’t found another blush that stays on quite like these. My favorite color is sensual.

Highlighter: I’m not in to an intense highlight so I actually love this Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powder in Luminous Light. I essentially put this on all the high points of my face. It gives you skin such a healthy glow that isn’t super intense but gives your skin a kiss of shimmer.

Eye Shadow Palette: I have a lot of eye shadow pallets, however this is the one I always gravitate to especially when travelling. It has all the colors you need to create any type of look. Natural, smokey, a berry look…I love the colors in this Tartlette Amazonian Clay Matte Palette.

Eyeliner: This eyeliner from Stila is awesome! I love the felt tip pen style to create a small cat eye flick. It doesn’t smudge and lasts all day as well!

Brows: My tride and true brow product has to be Anastasia’s Brow Definer. I use it in the color blonde.

Mascara: This was also a hard one to narrow down, but I think I’ll have to go with Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara. It gives your lashes such a full coat of mascara and makes them very voluminous! I love the wand on it as well!

Lipstick: So I’m a bit of a lip product junky so to narrow down to one product is suuuuper difficult. I chose Mac’s Honey Love lipstick for my favorite everyday lip product. Their lipsticks are so creamy and long lasting. I do like liquid lipsticks however they can be super drying. Honey love is a great neutral color that looks good with many looks.

Makeup bag: I was sad that they don’t have my makeup bag at Target anymore, but here is a similar one from the Hearth and Hand line.

That is it y’all. I hope this helps for those of you looking for some new makeup items. I listed them in the way that I wear them and y’all can shop the items below by clicking on the images below.

Thank you so much for flying by my nest today friends!!
