I think the star of the show is my Coca-cola crate. It is perfect for so many different holidays. I personally would not pay over $20 for one. I’ve seen them for all different prices, but don’t get scammed you guys when you’re out trying to find them. I would say if it’s over $20 you getting ripped off.

Another really easy idea is to take milk glass vases and use them as candle sticks. It just adds some really nice ambience to your table. Just be sure not to place your flags too close to the flame.

My other favorite piece is my old flour sifter that I put some greenery and flags in. Just an easy vessel like a pitcher or planter with some flags stuck in it is such a quick and easy way to add some patriotic decor to your home.

I had these craft soda bottles from my Valentine’s Day tablescape so I decided to re-use them again for this tablescape. I just quickly took my American flag napkins and tied them on the bottles with some jute rope and stuck in a coordinating paper straw. You could totally do this with any kind of bottle. It’s just that extra detail that is super fast and easy, but lets your guests know that you put in that extra detail for them.

The melamine plates I picked up at Target a few years ago. I really love these Hearth and Hand red and blue stripe ones they came out with this year. If I didn’t already have these I would have picked those up! They are super cute!

The America wood sign was actually from the Dollar Tree. This is just an indication that you don’t have to spend a fortune on your tablescapes. I like being frugal and creative. I see it as a challenge. Try and shop your home before purchasing anything. Even if you re-purpose something like the flour sifter or Coca-Cola crate to add some character to your table. Think outside the box. Even if it means you wander around your home and pick things from other areas and move to your table.
