Thanksgiving Tablescape

I think this may be the first time we are using this vintage Johnson Brothers china set for a formal dinner. I found them at an auction a few years ago, and then completed the collection using Replacements.com and eBay.

I set down two simple eucalyptus garlands and kept my pumpkins to display on the table from our fall decor. The day of I will probably be adding in a few fresh flowers from the yard. We have some roses and camellias in bloom right now.

I loved these green charger placemats and will also use them for Christmas as well.

It was time for some new flatware. I always remember my mom loving her Towle set. She said it lasted for decades. I loved this Sinclaire gold set. It has just the right amount of gold for my taste. We will use if for everyday as well.

I always get a bit nervous for open flames on tapers so I opted for battery operated candles this year. That way I can have them on all day for that added ambiance.

I hope y’all have a wonderful thanksgiving this year!
