Everyday Makeup Routine • Robyn's Southern Nest

It’s been a little while since I’ve shared my everyday makeup routine over here. I don’t wear makeup every day, but when I do these are the products I’ve been loving lately. I like to keep it simple and natural. There’s a good mix of drug store and middle tier brands. I’m not one for luxury brands I just don’t see the point of spending that much on makeup.

If I had to only choose one item to take to a deserted island it would be the It Cosmetics CC cream mainly because it has SPF in it.

Face

Like I mentioned earlier I like to use It Cosmetics CC cream and then use Tarte’s Shape Tape concealer. I then set my face with Bare Minerals Foundation. My favorite bronzer is a cult favorite and for good reason. It’s the Butter Bronzer from Physicians Formula. It blends like a dream and also smells like coconuts!

Cheeks

I absolutely love Tarte’s Amazonian Clay blushes. I’ve been using them for years and love all the colors. My current favorite shade is Peaceful. Sometimes I’ll dust an overall wash of Ambient Lighting Powder by Hourglass or I’ll just do a slight highlight on my cheek bones with Tarte’s highlight in the shade Stunner.

Eyes

I’ve been using the same eye palette for a few years now. Actually I’ve repurchased it a few times. I’m more of a warm tone eyeshadow gal. I think it goes well with my green eyes. The Too Faced Sweet Peach Eye Palette is my go to for any occasion! I then use Tarte’s Double Take eyeliner in brown for a softer look and then top it off with Essence Beauty’s The False Lashes Mascara. It’s only $2.50 and I can’t live without it!
