Christmas House Tour

Merry Christmas y’all!! Can you believe the day is already here?!! I thought I would quickly share our Christmas House Tour on what better day than Christmas Day. This year I didn’t go overboard like I thought I would. I wanted to scale it back a bit so I could enjoy the decor a little bit longer since I plan on keeping it up through January.

Video Tour

I also filmed a video tour on my YouTube channel which you can check out below as well. I hope you enjoy this little mini Christmas House Tour.

I thought our arborvitae looked like little Christmas trees out on our front porch. We have since moved them to our back courtyard to get more sunlight during the Winter months. I did a simple evergreen wreath with battery operated lights and a plaid bow with a pair of bells hanging down.

For our side porch I found some really cute wreaths from Wal-Mart and went rather neutral out here with a natural colored bow and some simple lit garland for the banisters.

I have a outdoor night tour of our Christmas lights on my Instagram highlight that I’ll link here.

For our staircase I added a few lit garlands with a natural bow and tied on some magnolia leaves on each bow. I love mixing in real with faux to give it that layered look. As much as I’d love to have real garland strands it’s probably not the best idea with our pets, especially little Kato Potato puppy.

Kato is always along for the ride when I’m snapping photos. He’s very excited about his first Christmas!

I am so excited for the way this little mirror in our foyer turned out. I found it for $5 at Goodwill and gave it a new lease on life with a fresh coat of gold metallic paint. And of course I needed to add a little wreath and ribbon for good Christmas measure.

The tree in our entryway is a flocked 7 1/2 foot tree from King of Christmas. I had a slight obsession with sage green so that’s the theme I went for on this beautiful tree. I think my favorite part are the lambs ear branches sticking out on top.

It was a stare down between Sunny and Kato in this capture.

On to the dining room. Which is a room in progress. I still have yet to find the right furniture or wallpaper for this room. It will hopefully be getting a glow up in 2021. So for now I just decorated the table very simply with some garland and magnolia leaves from our yard. You can read more about my tablescape here.

Our Christmas tree in our den was on special from Lowe’s last year. I always recommend acquiring your trees right after Christmas. She is a 12 foot tall beauty that was almost 70% off! I held my breath that she would fit in here, and she did. The longest branch doesn’t even touch the ceiling. Whew!

I have to say that my favorite room to decorate in our home is our kitchen. We spend the most time in here since it’s in the middle of our home, so I wanted to be sure that there was a kiss of Christmas everywhere in here.

This beautiful sign is from my friends at Between Me and You Signs. It’s one of my favorite Christmas songs so I knew I had to have it in on our mantel this year.

This is the first year I’ve decorated this particular coffee bar for Christmas. I went rather vintage and classic red and green on here. Since it’s such a neutral space to begin with I just love seeing the pops of color on here.

I couldn’t let the year pass without having a pink tree y’all. So I decided she would look best up in my craft room. It’s always so sad when I have to take down trees. They just bring so much joy and magic to a room don’t they?!

Our hall powder room got a few pops of red with some fun towels that remind me of candy canes and a faux poinsettia. As much as I’d love to have real poinsettias, they are dangerous for kitties.

Maybe next year I will decorate our sitting room a little more. We hardly ever go in here so I decided to put our main tree in our den. I’d eventually love to get another tall tree for this room as well. I set out a few Christmasey items just to make it feel cozy and festive.

I told you Kato was along for the tour. Such a good boy!
