Shopping for Affordable Bedding

Hey friend! As I lay in bed writing this I figured it was time to share a few of my favorite bedding elements that have caught my eye recently. I don’t know what it is about bedding, but I love switching it out for each season. I just think it’s such a nice change of pace when you have a new bedspread or quilt on your bed. So today, I thought it would be fun to take you along as I go shopping for affordable bedding for our master bedroom. Keep reading to see which one we decided to go with.

Before we get started, I get a lot of questions about my current white quilt that I’m under right now. I picked this up online a few years back, but recently I’ve found out that Kohl’s sells it online. This light weight quilt is perfect for the warmer months. I love the texture it brings to the bed. I will soon be switching this out to something a little heavier, once it’s not 90 degrees outside. We have a California King and the King size worked just fine for our bed frame in case you’re in the same boat…or should I say bed.

This one washes really well too. I’m always so nervous when it comes time to wash bedding because I really like quilts or duvets that you can throw in the wash. No one has time to go get one dry cleaned….am I right?

Last year I got this dust rose pink comforter off of Amazon for Fall and Winter. It’s made by the company Kasentex. It’s so soft to the touch and it’s under $100. It was just a nice pop of color without being too overpowering. I like my bedroom to be serene and neutral for the most part. Neutrals keep a space calming and that’s exactly what I want for my bedroom.

Pink Comforter Set

If you’re wondering about my sheets you can read all about those here.

I really like this stone washed comforter by Kasentex as well, if you’re looking for something a little heavier. It’s also hypoallergenic and filled with a down alternative. This would also really look nice at the foot of the bed for those nights that are a bit chillier. It would make a great layering piece at the end of the bed.

If your style is a little more ornate and shabby chic this comforter set from Brylane Home would be perfect! I love the scalloped edges on this one, and the gray is so beautiful!

This cotton comforter set from Copper Grove looks so nice and soft. If you just want a neutral solid this is the perfect set! I love gray and white. This would also be a nice layering piece for the colder months. I love that it’s cotton and breathable. It’s also under $100 right now.

So when I came across this set, I knew I had to have it! This set by Eddie Bauer is going to be perfect for the new season. I just flippin love it! I’m sure I will do a full post/review on it when it comes in the mail. With a 17% off coupon it came in under $100. I’ve been eyeing something like this for quite some time, and at under $100 you can’t beat it! My tagline in my profile should be #suckerforbuffalocheck .

When I scrolled past this set by Madison Park, I quickly did a rewind. I absolutely love this design. It looks so high end and beautiful. It’s a combination of chenille and tufted cotton. This would be perfect for your farmhouse to shabby chic and cottage styles.

Madison Park has some beautiful options when it comes to bedding. I really love this Virginia Ivory design as well. It’s just so soft and feminine.

If you’re looking for something a little more off white than stark white than this set would be perfect! I love the paisley design on this Albany Ultra Plush 3 Piece Set. This also has a down alternative filling.

Who doesn’t love Pom Poms? How adorable is this Traci Pom Pom comforter set? It comes in ivory and taupe. It has a boho and shabby chic feel to it. I could totally see this in a teen room as well.

Let me know in the comments what your favorites were. I’d love to know! Thank you for flying by sweet friend!

xoxo,

Robyn
