Lemony Summer Tablescape

Good afternoon y’all! Last night I was up until about 1 am thinking about what I was going to share with y’all today. It’s weird that my brain works like that. I get all sorts of ideas when I’m about to fall asleep. I’m thinking of keeping a notebook by my bedside just to unload all the thoughts and ideas in my head. Then it hit me! I haven’t done a tablescape in quite some time. So without further ado here is my Lemony Summer Tablescape I created this morning!

I’ve been incorporating lemons into my home decor since March and I can’t get enough of them! They are so cheerful and add a pop of color to any decor! I used a mix of real and faux fruit. Here’s a link to the faux lemons.

I placed some greenery across the center of the table in a “S” curve to give it a more dramatic feel then just laying it out in a straight line. I bought this one from the Hearth and Hand line at Target, which is unfortunately now out of stock, but I’ll link a similar one for you guys here. It’s made up of a faux lambs ear that I think is perfect for any season.

I decided to use this galvanized feeder trough as the center piece so I could fill it in with lemons, greenery and votives.

These buffalo check napkins will never go out of style in my opinion. They are a staple to the farmhouse style look. I love them!

Layering is key when creating and interesting tablescape. I used two chargers and a bowl to create the place setting. I then rolled up the napkin instead of a folded one, and then popped a real lemon on top for a pop of color.

The other necessity when creating a tablescape is candles. They will give any space such a warm inviting ambiance. They also just make it more romantic and fancy in my opinion. These mercury glass candle stick holders are from Michaels Stores and the smaller votives I actually picked up from Dollar Tree believe it or not. I put some battery operated candles in the smaller votives that can be found here.

I hope you have enjoyed my Lemony Summer Tablescape! When life gives you lemons…decorate with them!
