Easy Mantel Decor - Robyn's Southern Nest

Easy Mantel Decor

Hey y’all! Happy Thursday! Lately I’ve been all about easy arrangements that literally take me 5 minutes or less to put together. Just like my SUPER easy Botanical Water Bottles I did last week. I love the look of lambs ear mixed in with cotton stems! I think it’s perfect for this time of year too. It kind of helps transition your Summer decor to Fall without being too Fall-ish if you get what I’m putting down. 🙂 So here is my easy mantel decor for late Summer transitioning into Fall. I hope you’ll enjoy!

I bought both the lambs ear and the cotton stems from Hobby Lobby last year and really never thought of putting them together. I put them in this recycled glass vase from Hobby Lobby as well. I NEVER buy anything full price at Hobby Lobby. Sometimes you have to be patient but eventually it will go to 50% off. And if you aren’t patient you can always use your 40% off coupon for that one item.

On either side of our TV I have propped up my Goodwill shutters with a stack of books. I think the shutters kind of frame out the TV a bit. You can read here how I made my books look “old”. I went pretty low key with the center of our mantel and popped in some faux lambs ear potted plants from IKEA into these cement planters that I picked up in the Dollar Spot from Target last year. I love grouping things in threes. Definitely a designer tip I recommend to anyone when you’re creating a vignette. On the right side I put a lantern that I found at TJ Maxx. I didn’t want to be too symmetrical on each side. I like varied heights sometimes.

Here’s another one of my lambs ear and cotton stem arrangements I put in our breakfast nook. The recycled jug I purchased from Decor Steals.

That is it y’all! Easy peasy! Thank you for flying by my nest today! I hope y’all have a wonderful day!

xoxo,

Robyn 🙂
