File Cabinet Makeover

I first laid my eyes on this little fixer upper when my husband sent me a picture of two other items at Goodwill getting the yay or nay. I looked closely at the items and there it was in the background just waiting to be snatched up. I asked him how much? $10…uhhh…SOLD! Chris was like, how did you even spot that? When I see something with potential I have to have it! So here she was before she got some much needed TLC. Plain maple wood dying for some paint!! I hope you enjoy this little file cabinet makeover!

I decided to use the Waverly Chalk Paint in the color “mineral” with 2 coats and spray paint the brass hardware with my favorite Rust-Oleum Metallic Spray Paint in the color “oil rubbed bronze”. She came out so pretty. Please excuse all the background mess in these pictures. We are in the process of moving so it’s organized chaos.

Is it just me or does it look like she’s smiling with her new makeover?? I’ll update you with how she fits in to our house once we finally move!
