Favorite Coffee Table Books

I’ve been meaning to share a few of my favorite coffee table books. I figured the best way to style our large coffee table in the sitting room was with beautiful books. I enjoy coming in here with a cup of coffee to flip through books and listen to music. It’s nice to have a room in the house with no TV or other devices. Just a place to sit and read a book to rest and recharge from a world full of technology.

I tried to pick out books that have a beautiful exterior that are also rather neutral. Most of which are interior design related since that’s what I enjoy the most. I suggest removing their jackets when you display them.

Coffee Table Styling Tips

When styling books on a table try to be symmetrical with their layout. Showing the spines outward so the person sitting down can read the spines properly. I used a nice linen tray in the middle of the books to house some smaller items like a candle, cute matches, and a fun magnifying glass.

By bringing in greenery to your coffee table, it will help soften the space as well as add some height. I chose to do a faux fern plant since this is leather top table. I just don’t trust having a real plant on this particular surface.

Be sure to have coasters readily available for your guests. You don’t want them putting their drinks directly on the table. Here I took one of our ginger jar tops and put the coasters inside.
