Easy Spring Vignette

Hey friends! I know it’s not technically Spring but it sure does feel like it here in the South. Today I wanted to change out the decor on our kitchen island to something bright and cheerful. My mom sent me these beautiful flowers for my Birthday on Monday and I just knew I had to feature them in this Easy Spring Vignette.

One of the best staples that you can get for your home is an oversized wooden tray. They will always come in handy. They are perfect for decorating, entertaining, etc. The one I’m using is from Target’s Hearth and Hand line.

Chris bought me this cool wooden bowl and faux limes for my birthday as well, so I thought I would throw them into this bright vignette for another pop of color. You can certainly use your fresh produce, but sometimes it’s just easier to get faux fruit to feature. Let’s be honest, unless I’m making a boat load of margaritas I don’t think I’d ever have this many limes on hand.

Lastly I added a fresh smelling candle from Antique Candle Co. This is their new grapefruit scent and it’s so yummy for Spring. The pedestal I put under it is from Hobby Lobby. It’s currently out of stock online, but you may have more luck trying to find it in store. Whenever I feature a candle I like to add in a wick trimmer off to the side just to give the vignette some added interest with something functional and pretty.

I filmed a quick video over on Instagram. You can check it out below.
