Rearranging Your Space

Rearrange your furniture

Place your desk in a new spot if you can. If you’re in a space where your desk is permanent or honestly too hard to move. No need to worry, you can just rearrange the decor on top to make it feel NEW again.

Here’s how I had my desk before:

And After… I just turned one of the sides of my desk so now I can look out at the rest of the room instead of having my back to the room like before. A new perspective does wonders!

Fresh Flowers or Plants

There have been studies that show that having a plant or flowers in a space can improve your overall mood. I do believe this to be true. Some plants even clean the air. So..win win!

Use a Catchall

I don’t like a lot of clutter, so if I do have some decor on my desk I like to use a tray or catchall to keep my items organized. That way you know where your items go and they are all in one area. Everything has a place. This has my OCD heart singing!

New artwork or inspirational items

I added a new piece of art to my office and I’m loving it. Add a favorite quote or something that inspires you each time you look at it. Mine is “You Got This!” It’s a daily reminder that you are in control of your life and it’s up to you to make it happen.

Tidy your Space!

Tidy your space at the end of the day. This is something that I find very important. It only take a few minutes to tidy your workspace at the end of the day. This way, when you come back the next day you won’t have a mountain of paperwork and chaos to come back to. Cleanliness is next to Godliness 🙂

Comfort is Key

I like to be comfortable when I work. So if that means keeping a throw close or a pillow in my chair then so be it. It’s an easy fix to your space and your booty will thank me later.

Or just curl up on your faux fur rug like this lil dude. What a diva!

Favorite Scent

I love to have a candle burning when I work. I like my favorite scent surrounding me in my workspace. If you can’t have candles at your desk, then a nice reed diffuser is a good option too.
