Vintage Mail Sorter

Happy Friday y’all! I wanted to hop on and share how I’ve styled this vintage mail sorter that I’ve had in my closet for years. I used to keep my shoes in it believe it or not. So this morning I dusted it off and repurposed this awesome piece. My mom found it when she was antiquing one day and happily passed it down to me. I thought it would look perfect on our sideboard in our kitchen dining area. Thankfully it was the perfect length and height! I didn’t even have to rehang our barn photo.

I’m not going to lie I was a little bummed when my Rae Dunn mugs were just a smiggin too tall for the slots. I gathered some goods from around the house and mixed some old and new pieces in with it.

Target’s Hearth and Hand with Magnolia line is so versatile and looks so nice mixed in with vintage pieces. I can’t get enough of these jade pretties. I’m a small collector of jadeite and knew when I saw these at Target I just had to have them! They look so nice against the dark wood of the mail sorter.

I did fit in some Rae Dunn as you can see at the left. I had some long trivets that I slipped in.

This antique scale was my grandmother’s which I believe was her great grandmother’s passed down to her. It’s one of my favorite pieces that I have of hers.

Thank you for flying by my nest today! I hope y’all have a wonderful weekend!

xoxo,

Robyn 🙂
