Easter Tablescape

Robyn's Southern Nest - Easter Tablescape

Hey y’all and happy Tuesday! Last night I was sitting in bed dreaming up what I was going to do for my Easter Tablescape this year. I know that Easter is still a month away but I figured that this may give you some ideas when you’re putting together your own tablescape for Easter this year. I love all the pastels and flowering blooms. It’s a season for life and newness. Birds are chirping..the warmth is in the breeze and it is truly God’s season.

So if you watch my stories on Instagram I shared how I went into Pier 1 the other day and ended up breaking a little bird figurine that was on clearance. So I let the employees know what I did and told them I was happy to pay for it, but they were so nice and told me not to worry about it. I felt like such a klutz! While I was there I felt like I had to buy something since I had broken something. So I picked up some Easter eggs that were 25% off. I purchased some larger speckled ones and some smaller ones as well to go in my nest on my back buffet. They had some really cute Spring and Easter decor.

All of the florals I used are from Hobby Lobby. I wanted to make a statement with the florals so I used two of my buckets that I had up on my kitchen cabinets for some added height. The arrangements are a mixture of lambs ear, lavender, and ranunculus. I would most likely remove these once it was time for Easter dinner.

Layering my plates and chargers is my jam, so as you can see I’ve used two chargers and two plates. I’ve had the jadeite dishes for years and I love bringing them out for Spring and Summer time!

The centerpiece is a lantern from the Hearth and Hand line at Target. The fake grass is from Hobby Lobby as well as this rabbit. Then I scattered those speckled eggs I got at Pier 1.

I think my favorite thing about this tablescape has to be the bunny napkins in the drinking glasses. It’s so fun for me to think of fun ways to display napkins so I thought it would be cute to add an egg in the middle of the napkin and then stuff them down in the drinking glasses. It makes them look like little bunny ears hanging over. Super easy to do y’all!

On our back buffet I added a mirror I picked up at Goodwill with my moss bunny that I’ve had for a few years. He’s from Hobby Lobby as well. Then just added some mini eggs to my nest and popped that on a cake stand.
