Many Uses for Turkish Towels

Happy Monday! Today I wanted to share all of the many uses for Turkish Towels. I bought my mom one for her birthday recently for her to use when she goes to the beach. After I saw hers I decided I needed to try them out as well. This gray one I purchased on Amazon. They come in so many different colors, but of course I chose gray since that’s my second favorite color!

Many Uses for Turkish Towels

They can be used as bath towels, beach towels, blankets, shawls, sarongs etc. The list goes on! I draped one across our bed and I thought it looked so cute for some added texture on the end of your bed or if you want a light cover while you’re watching TV.

They are very absorbent and dry really fast which is such a plus when you’re going to the pool or the beach! There is nothing worse than carrying wet and sandy beach towels back to your car! They can get so heavy in your bag!

They clean really well too! Before I used mine I washed it in the cool cycle and tumble dried on low. You can also hang them to dry as well. The size I purchased is 39″W x 68″L  and weighs about 9.6 ounces. This is the perfect size since in the bathroom as well because it’s the size of a bath sheet. 

I also think they look really cute as a table runner or tablecloth. They would also be handy to take on a picnic in the park to use on the grass or if there are outdoor tables you could drape them over it.

I also want to purchase some smaller ones for my kitchen to use as dishtowels. They soak up water so well. I really can’t say enough good things about them!

They make a perfect unique gift for bachelorette parties, pool party favors, and even for wedding welcome gift baskets for your guests.
