4th of July Flag Cookie Cake
I made this 4th of July Flag Cookie Cake last 4th of July and it was a total hit! It was very easy to make which is always a plus for me! It didn’t come out perfect but it sure was delicious!
Ingredients:
1 package premade cookie dough (I used chocolate chip but you can also use plain sugar cookie dough)
1 12 oz Buttercream Frosting
1 1/2 cups Blueberries
1 pint sliced Strawberries
Directions:
Preheat Oven to 350.
Roll out cookie dough on a cookie sheet into a rectangle
Bake for for 15 minutes keeping an eye on the edges.
Let cool completely before decorating with frosting and fruit.
Ice the cookie with buttercream frosting or vanilla frosting whichever you prefer.
Decorate the upper left with blueberries. I did 6 rows of 8 blueberries.
Lay down your sliced strawberries creating your stripes. I was able to fit 5 rows of strawberries.
Go back with your frosting in a piping bag and add in dollops of icing in between your rows of fruit.
Refrigerate until ready to serve. This will firm up your frosting making it easier to cut when ready.
Happy 4th of July sweet friends!
xoxo,
Robyn
