Natural Tablescape

Hey y’all! Yesterday I was inspired to put together a neutral and very natural looking tablescape. I’ve been going crazy with lemons lately for Summer, so I wanted to tone it down a little bit. This type of tablescape would be perfect for Summer get-togethers or a nice garden party! I’m really happy with how this neutral and natural tablescape turned out!

I always start with my centerpiece first and then work my way out. I had these glass KORKEN bottles that I picked up from IKEA years ago that have been collecting dust on the bottom of my sideboard, so I thought they would look cool filled with water and greenery. I picked out a few bushes around my yard and clipped a few sprigs for my tablescape. If you don’t have any faux greenery always look outside and see what you can use! If your yard doesn’t have anything useful you can always ask a friendly neighbor too! Just don’t go and steal it…ask first 🙂 For the bottles I used boxwood, fern, and some red-tipped photinia. I love the way greenery looks submerged in water! You can read the full tutorial here.

My wood riser is from Pottery Barn. It’s one of my favorite things to use on my farmhouse table. They come in a few different sizes. They are also great for adding height or even serving food on for parties.

I then grabbed my milkglass vases and stuck a candle stick in them for some added ambiance. I have a collection of these vases. I found mine at Magnolia and Goodwill believe it or not!  Here are some I found on Etsy.

The natural placemats are my favorite for every day use. I highly recommend them! I then topped them with a white charger that I picked up at Dollar Tree! Yes I said Dollar Tree! I also had these cute wooden square bowls that I found at Goodwill and I put those on the two ends of the table. Because I was going for a natural theme I didn’t want all the place settings to look uniform. The napkins stripe and cross napkins are from Target’s Hearth and Hand line. I always like to add some cute pillows to our bench just to break up all the wood. These black diamond pillows I purchased from Target’s Opalhouse line. I love their unique design.

The striped table runner is from IKEA to give some added texture under the wood riser. I found a similar runner here on Amazon. I just placed a little sprig of boxwood on each place setting to add a green touch. I also added my little wooden llama I got at Target. I thought he looked so cute and will most definitely add a little conversation to any dinner party! “Ummm…why is there a llama on the table?”

Thank you for flying by my nest today little birdies! I hope you have a great week!

xoxo,

Robyn 🙂
