Christmas House Tour

We just got dumped with at least 6-7 inches of snow yesterday here in North Georgia so I thought it would be the perfect day to share our Christmas house tour! After breakfast I ran out with my camera to snap a few shots of the beautiful snow globe scenes. This is probably the most snow I’ve seen in quite some time since I grew up in the lowcountry in South Carolina.

The other weekend I decided to move the furniture around in our kitchen nook and living room/dining room around 9pm. When I get an idea in my head I must do it right then and there. Anyone else that way? My husband was less than thrilled about moving furniture on a Sunday night, but I think he liked the outcome of the new set up. So kudos to you babe!

I hope everyone has a very happy holiday season full of joy and laughter! If you’d like to know any sources please feel free to leave a comment below. Enjoy y’all!

Front Porch Decor and Snowy Scenes

This Letters to Santa mail bin is by far my favorite thing I picked up from the Hearth and Hand Christmas collection at Target. I think we will have it forever. That is what I love most about a lot of her pieces that she created. They will withstand the test of time.

Our little bird bath looks like a white powdered donut…

Our snowy little house

Our Family Room

The stockings are from Pottery Barn as well as the Christmas tree skirt.

Just stuffed some fake snow and a few bottle brush trees down in my Blue Antique Ball Jars for a little Christmasy effect!

Our Christmas Coffee Corner    This is always the first place I decorate during any holiday. Its one of my favorite spots!

Kitchen Dining

I’m in to adding touches of copper throughout this space. I found both of these pieces at Goodwill! You never know what you may find. I think it goes really well with the wall color which is Sherwin Williams Oyster Bay. The lantern is from the Hearth and Hand Collection at Target. The Sugared Birch candles smell freakin amazing! I highly recommend them! Anyone else semi-addicted to this collection? I put these cute seltzer bottles on each plate. I remember a department store that my mom used to shop at in the late 80s had these flavored seltzers. I remember that would be such a treat to get one while we shopped.

Chris my husband found these cute lit trees with burlap on Hollar for $2 I think he said. I wish I would have gotten more!!

A few added touches in our Kitchen. I love having a neutral kitchen now so I can add pops of color here and there.

If you buy a holiday scented candle this season you need to buy this one! Its the Country Christmas scent from my favorite candle company, Hazel Candle Co. I mention them all the time and thats because I’m candle obsessed. I like them because they burn so well and are all natural as well. Right now they have 10% off!!!

I love this cute little letter board I got from Oak + Made. I think I’m going to switch it to the Christmas Countdown once I finish this blog.

I get a lot of questions about our Domsjo sink from IKEA. I can honestly say that I absolutely love it! I haven’t had any cracks or staining. Knocking on wood now…Although I’m a bit OCD about keeping it clean. I try to not leave anything sitting in it too long. And because its white it keeps me on my toes to always keep it clean. I really like having the 2 sides in case I want to soak stuff in one side whilst washing food down the disposal you can.

Living Room and new Breakfast Nook

I actually have sat here a few mornings to have my coffee this week. It kind of feels like you’re at a cafe with the light streaming in the window. Its the perfect little nook. The tiered tray is from Antique Farmhouse. Its a wonderful piece to change out for each season as well. I use it all the time.

I haven’t done much with the upstairs loft other than slap up our flocked tree. The only problem I have with flocked trees is that apparently they taste delicious to cats. We can’t keep him away from it! Crazy cat!

I added some dollar tree dusters to the top half of our tree to make it look like snow. I also found these beautiful pink glass ornaments at Goodwill and was so tickled pink!!!! 🙂 Sorry I’m a bit of nerd. The right shade of pink ornament is super hard to find I found out. So when these were just sitting on the shelf still all packaged like they had been since 2000 with old Target packaging I grabbed them as fast I could.

This pillow from Hobby Lobby makes me smile every time I see it! I swore I had more Christmas pillows. They are probably tucked away somewhere. Don’t you hate it when you hide stuff from yourself!

I hope y’all enjoyed our little Christmas house tour!

Thank you for flying by my nest! Happy Holidays to you and yours!

xoxo,

Robyn
