Better late than never. I know that June is already in full swing but I wanted to share a few of my favorite things! Lyrical master over here! Lets get to it shall we!
Wood Sign from Tuesday Morning
Chris and I found this sign at Tuesday Morning on clearance and we both fell in love with its message. Its something that we want to share with our kids one day. We hung it up at the base of our stairs as a constant reminder of how you can truly make a difference in this world if you put your mind to it! Best of all, it has these magical lights that just make me smile!
My good friends from work got me a Kirkland’s gift card for my birthday so I was so excited to find this piece when I went in there “just to browse”. I planted my succulents I bought off of Amazon surrounded with some rocks from Dollar Tree. Thank you Hillary and Victoria! 🙂
Scored these adorable herb growing kits at Target on clearance. I knew I just had to try my hand at growing fresh herbs for our kitchen since we cook a lot! I’ve gotten the green thumb bug and all I want to do is buy plants! I figure if I have kept my house plant alive that my mom gave us about 6 years ago I can try my hand at growing some herbs. I plan on placing them on some open shelving that I have planned in our kitchen. Stay tuned for that!
Those are actual coffee beans in the “Joe” wax above.
I have a candle addiction. I’m a sucker for Edison Bulbs so when I saw this at Wal-Mart I scooped it up! I have discovered Hazel Candle Co. and I’m so glad I did. Our favorite scents are Joe which smells like fresh brewed coffee. Fireside which is Chris’ favorite if you want a more manly woodsy scent. And the Citrus and Gardenia scent featured below is so fresh and so clean for the Spring and Summer months!!! The best thing about their wax is that its 100% natural soy wax with no additives or harmful chemicals. They are a great little company on Etsy…love them over there at Hazel Candle Co.
I’m a little bit of an appliance and gadget girl. Always have been. So with that being said….I’ve had my eye on this little baby for awhile now. Our downstairs is all hardwood and tile so I wanted a cordless vacuum to take care of that area. It it a powerful little sucker!!! If you have pets this is your tool! It vacuums pet hair, litter and dirt like no other! Yes they are on the expensive side but I think they are worth the investment. I’ve never had a vacuum suck up litter the way this baby does…and that makes this cat mama happy!
Thank you little birdies for flying by my nest!
