April Favorites

Happy Kentucky Derby Day Y’all!!!

This year is just flying by! It’s so hard to believe it will almost be a year since we bought our house. It’s a beautiful Spring day here in North Georgia that I think I might just have to go outside and sit on the porch and read my new issue of Magnolia Journal. Does anyone else get excited about reading magazines? I know it’s kind of fading out with all the online media we have at our fingertips, but there is just something about the smell of a new magazine and the feel of its pages. And as for Magnolia Journal, Joanna and her team did not skimp on the page quality of their magazine. They are weighty and smooth!

Without further ado here are some of the things I’ve been loving in the month of April!

Copper Baking Pans from Goodwill..that’s right…Goodwill! I had to include these beauties because I was so excited to find them. You never know what you may find! Sundays are the best days to go to Goodwill since it’s the day after garage sales on Fridays and Saturdays. When I saw these on the end cap I just had to scoop them up and put them in my cart especially when all of them cost less than $4! Not even a question!

Galvanized Tiered Tray from Magnolia Market

I was browsing the Magnolia Market website…surprise surprise there right, and I saw this on sale and knew it would fit perfectly on our bathroom vanity. We have limited space on the counter so this serves as a good catch-all for our everyday items. Best part it was only $13! They look to be sold out on the website when I looked this morning so here is one very similar on Amazon, but I suggest adding it to your cart and save for later to see if the price gets lower over time.

Nespresso Milk Frother

If you follow me on Instagram you realize I’m a coffee fanatic! When I bought the Nespresso Inissia Espresso Maker, which I featured in my March Favorites post this was included in the bundle on Amazon. I never realized how much I love to have frothed milk in my coffee until now! It feels like you are your own barista without paying $6 for a fancy drink! You can froth the milk it to be cold or hot which is cool to have the option in case you just want an iced coffee.

Vintage Blue Ball Jars

I found these blue beauties on Etsy with the cute shop called Roaming Yankees. I’ve been wanting to collect them for some time, but I wanted to be sure I had a place for them before buying them. I styled them on my tiered tray from Hobby Lobby for a cute Spring display and can’t wait to style them again. I would love to keep them on the window sill since they look so lovely in the sunlight, but our furry monster would knock them over in an instant!

Erin Condren LifePlanner

Lastly, this isn’t really home related but it has definitely kept me organized this past month so I thought it was worth a mention. This is my second Erin Condren LifePlanner so this year I picked out this cute floral design since it matched my desk. I still keep my outlook calendar on my phone for work events, but for personal and blogging events I’ve loved reaching for this. It’s also an excuse to decorate and play with colored pens and stickers…duh!!! The covers are removable so you can buy additional covers to suit your mood during the seasons.

Well little birdies…that is all for now. Stay tuned for some exciting new DIY projects I have planned! I also want to feature a few new recipes that we have been loving recently just to switch it up a bit. Hope y’all have a happy weekend!!!

Thanks for flying by my nest!
